One unique machine at Mountain States Cabinet is the Stiles Machinery Optimat BP 100 CNC (Computer Numeric Control). This machine allows us to make cabinet components quickly and easily. It can also produce pieces that would be difficult or impossible to produce by hand. Most of the arches, flutes, vent holes, corbels and other custom touches are produced at least in part on this machine. Letters and numbers can also be cut out on the machine. The CNC has a wide variety of onboard tools including: The dado bits on this machine can be changed for fluting, engraving, and many other projects. We can cut up to 4 inches thick with out current tooling with a machine max of about 6 inches. We are consistently increasing the type and number of projects that can be performed on the machine and have found very little that could not be done. |
